Kaki Morehead

Head Coach Eastern Oregon University
17 seasons as Head Volleyball Coach at EOU. She is the all-time winningest coach with a career record of 372-122 and the best winning percentage of .753. EOU made it to the semi-finals of the 2023 NAIA National Championship.

Having Coach Ann work with our team this year was an X Factor. We have had success in the past but she really helped us with weaving all the pieces together; physical, mental, preparation, goal setting, all of it. She brought things to our team that some individuals didn’t even know they needed. I honestly cannot say enough good things about her, she is the best.

Emotional Regulation

Emotions are energy. Athletes learn to use emotions to reach the ideal activation level for their sport and position. They'll be taught how to manage the range of emotions they encounter before, during, and after competition.

Finding Flow state

Achieving a state of flow can greatly enhance an athlete's performance, leading to better results and greater enjoyment of the sport. Get tools to access it more often and eliminate the blocks that stop their flow.

Imagery

Through visualization we'll design every piece of their ideal outcome and bring it to life. Imagery will help manage energy levels, enhance readiness, and deal with the many challenges associated with high level performance. We use it to overcome mental challenges and to access flow state.

Expectations vs
process goals

Most athletes have unspoken unrealistic expectations that hinder high level performance. We will uncover those and set up realistic process goals that actually get you to your goals more efficently. Also we'll uncover the expectations atheltes feel from coaches, teammates and parents.

Focus

Enhance the direction and duration of their focus, and use it to get in the zone and stay in the zone. Athlete's will learn to use focus training to weed out the mindset garbage, power through adversity and distractions, and optimize their mind for competition.

Perfectionism

The first step is to help athletes uncover perfectionist beliefs that keep them stuck and help them understand how it hurts their confidence. Perfectionism can be sneaky and hard to identfy as a block to potential, but we will unlock their performance by identifying and reframing  perfetionsit thinking. 

Confidence

Where does their confidence come root from? Is it sturdy or fragile? We'll get clear where they source their confidence and we'll identify how they can take the reins on confidence so it's consistent and pro-active. 

Mindfulness

You have the power to control your thoughts. Through mindfulness activities like meditation, visualization and intentional self reflection we will build a mindfulness practice into your athelte's training routine.
